My life mission is to expand my own consciousness as well as others. I do this by living a life enveloped in
love, the mutual exchange of ideas and experiences, and living in the present moment.
At the moment, regardless of my whereabouts, I am most likely "in the flow."
In 2005 , with an English education degree under my belt, I decided to leave the country and go traveling for 21
months, hitchhiking from Nevada to Argentina. During that time, my views and beliefs about reality radically
changed forever. Though I was not aware that I was living a tantric lifestyle, as the years progressed I have
learned to channel my thoughts and intentions and can now manifest positive experiences into my life on a daily
basis, though I am of course still learning. Since my first day with Team Tantra, I have found that my deepest
desires and questions are reflected by the people with whom I am working. Team Tantra consists of a group of
radically different individuals each expressing their own radical individualism, communally working together
towards a more realized and enlightened self in a more realized and enlightened society. I feel incredibly lucky to
be under the leadership of Tanja. I am most impressed with the intention that she projects when she speaks, when
she lives. Her passion is contagious.
My nomadic lifestyle has led me through 30 countries and a wide range of job opportunities. These include but are
not limited to teaching preschool, being a whitewater raft guide, a sea kayak guide, freelance writer, sandwich
delivery boy, and commencement speaker for Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada. I have also written two novels
entitled Life is Most Profound and A Hitchhiker’s Philosophy: a two year pilgrimage through Latin America. My work
for Team Tantra revolves around being a videographer. My job is to get the real story. It is my passion to go out
into the world, into the streets, into the corners where we all exist and ask people the most basic of human
questions: "What is love?" "Are we all connected?" "What is life to you?" Folks, it's all tantra. We're all
connected, in one way or another. But somehow we have been conditioned to believe just the opposite. My mission is
to get the conversation started again. One of my gifts is the ability to tap into the underlying gel that connects
us all-what does it mean to be human? This is a concept that we all have an opinion about, yet not always an outlet
for that opinion. I am able to give people that outlet, either from behind a video camera or in front of a room
full of people.
In 2007, my life changed yet again when I was propositioned with the idea to film a documentary in Colombia. My
friend and I spent four months traveling through Colombia asking people three basic questions: What do you think
the biggest problem in the world is? Do you think traveling can make the world a better place? And, What can
regular people do to make the world a better place? The documentary is set for completion July 1st of 2009 and will
be entering film festivals all over the world. I am currently working on setting up a new business that focuses on
"grassroots journalism." These micro relationships that we have every day, in the elevator, at the store, all hold
an infinite amount of potential.
And so with that being said, I'm living up to my potential.
