What is Tantra?
It's an Eastern Spiritual Philosophy that includes such ideas as: Being Present, Self-Love, The Ability to Feel and Express, Living in Authenticity, Abundance and Expansion.
Is Tantra anti-Christian or anti-religion?
Absolutely not! In fact, learning these principles will help you strengthen the faith you already have for your religion or belief system.
Do I need a partner to learn Tantra?
No. At it's heart, Tantra is an individual, personal practice first.
What happens in this weekend workshop?
There is lecture and demonstrations by Tanja with a demo model. There are experiential exercises that are usually done with a partner. This is very similar in format to many popular personal development trainings...those trainings don't have Tanja!
Is there any sexual touching? Kissing? Will I be asked to take
off any clothes?
Absolutely NO to all questions. We have set up a very safe place and atmosphere where you will be able to let go of any and all of your relationship or sexual past issues and then learn how to grow in this area of your life. Some folks see therapists for years for this type of work.
What if I don't have a troubled past and just want to learn how to be a master lover?
Much of what keeps you from becoming a master lover is out of your own awareness. You will clear this and then discover your potential as a great partner.
Is this workshop just for couples?
No. Previous workshops have been attended at about 50% couples and 50% singles. Everyone gets what they need for their life and their situation, past, present, and future.
I'm married, but my partner would never attend such a workshop, is it still worth it for me to go alone?
Yes, many of our past attendees are married and didn't bring their partner. Some of them have provided testimonials on this page and all over the site. In our follow-up with students, it has been reported that the non-attending partner notices a tremendous difference post-workshop and then gets interested in learning. To truly love someone else, you must first love yourself.
Will I be required to do things I am uncomfortable with?
Required? No. Might you be uncomfortable at times? Maybe, it depends on you. If you are happy with just having "comfort" in your relationship and/or sex life, then this workshop may not be for you. If you want to go beyond what you have now, then you will be supported and encourage to communicate beyond that. This means participating fully with everyone respecting your values and ethics in how you do that. You are totally in control of your experience and what you get out of it.
What about a place to stay and food for the weekend?
